About Tony Zwiener
A Career Built on Precision
Tony Zwiener began his manufacturing career on the bench as a Toolmaker, spending the first 20 years mastering the craft before programming his first Wire EDM — a Charmilles Robofil 200 — in 1989 using the Esprit C CAD/CAM system.
In 2001, Tony joined Agie LLC and discovered the AgieVision Wire EDM machine. Through the merger of Agie and Charmilles into Georg Fischer Machining Solutions (GFMS), he rose to Lead Vision Wire EDM Applications Engineer — a role he held for over 24 years.
Now operating independently as Visionary Wire EDM, Tony brings that deep institutional knowledge directly to manufacturers, shops, and engineers who need expert training and process consulting without the overhead of a large corporation.

Services are limited to training and process consulting only. The equipment must be in good working order and not in need of repair. If the system's condition is in question, a PM performed by a qualified service engineer is recommended before scheduling.
